The Villa
Villa Athena Skiathos consists of 8 boutique styled, architect designed, self-catering studios each with sweeping sea views of the Megali Ammos bay of Skiathos.
Enjoy the tranquility of the lush green manicured gardens whilst having your breakfast on the patio or walk to the beach for lunch at one of the many seaside tavernas. For dinner walk into town for the best dining experiences on the Island.
The space
Each studio is located within our expansive Mediterranean gardens and was Architect designed with the emphasis on privacy and unobstructed sea views. All Studios, comprise of an air-conditioned twin-bedded bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet and a kitchenette equipped with the necessary kitchen utensils to prepare a quick meal, a Nespresso machine to make coffee and a fridge to keep your drinks cool.
The Studios all have private balconies and a second outside seating area for you to relax on or have a quiet meal. Your studios will be serviced on a daily basis and we provide towels to take with you to the beach.
Guest access
Villa Athena's Studios all have private entrances and direct access from the lovely gardens. There is free on-site parking available for your car, quad bike or scooter.
Serviced Rooms
Rooms are serviced daily or as often as you want - so sit back, relax and enjoy your stay with us ! We provide linnen as well as towels for you to take to the beach.

About Your Hosts at Villa Athena Skiathos
Owner and host Karen Geldenhuys, together with her husband Org, lives at Villa Athena and is personally available to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
We spend six months of the year living on Skiathos and six months in Cape Town, South Africa. Over the years, we have travelled to almost every corner of the island — discovering its hidden beaches, secluded coves, sea caves and grottoes around Skiathos and the surrounding islands, scenic viewpoints, favourite tavernas and restaurants, and the many special places that make this part of the Sporades so unique.
Because we know the island and its surrounding waters so well, we’re always happy to share our local knowledge and point you in the right direction. Whether you’re looking for the best beach for a swim, a secluded cove, a hidden sea cave to explore, a beautiful sunset, a great restaurant, a scenic drive or something special to do, just ask us. We can help you discover the Skiathos that you might otherwise miss.
